Here are some details on the physical and even mentally therapeutic value of the spices!
Cinnamon - circulation, breathing, digestion, 'flu, mentally focussing and centering
Cardamom - metabolism, self-love
Cloves - analgesic, inflammations, feeling cold, shyness, timidity
Black Pepper - pain, cramps, sluggish digestion, tiredness, lack of concentration, low libido
Ginger - nervous tummy, motion sickness, nervousness in general
Yogi Tea feels invigorating and warming. It works on detox through liver and digestive system, blood purification and mental strength and coordination.
Bring 1 lt water to the boil. Add 1 TS yogi tea mix and simmer for 25 mins.
Leave the pot open or the lid at an angle, or else the tea will tend to boil over…
Strain the tea, discard the spice mix. Return the tea to the stove, add 1/4 lt organic unpasteurised, non-homogenised raw milk (it is surprising how much less allergy-inducing raw, organic milk is!!) or soya milk or Ricedream and bring to a quick boil. This is where you stand by. At the point of boiling, the tea is quick to boil over (not so nice - beeg mess!)
My personal favourite is to add 1/4 litre plain fruit juice to a litre of ready tea; this can be apple or mango juice.. it is delicious hot, can guzzle several cups of this invigorating tea, but equally awesome as an ice tea. so make some up and have it ready when you need a cold refreshing drink! yogi tea keeps in the fridge for 3 days!

Iced Chai - a delicious treat! Chuck a handful ice cubes, 400 ml yogitea and 3 TS soya milk, oatmilk or ricemilk powder into the blender. Whiz 'til frothy!
You can also make Yogi Tea from scratch!
Preparation:
Bring two quarts of water to a boil. Add cloves and boil one minute. Add cardamom, peppercorns, cinnamon, and ginger. Cover and boil for 30 minutes. Reduce heat and simmer for two to three hours – this is because the spices are WHOLE!. Remove from heat, add black tea, and let cool. Strain and store in the refrigerator. Reheat when you want a cup and add milk and honey to taste.
