This is a fantastic Japanese condiment. So good, so simple. Use on anything, salad, baked potatoes, brown rice, on top of tahini on toast. 

Use any sesame - brown, white or black (rainbow nation of sesame applies) in ratio 17 - 1 by volume with sea salt. 

Toast at 160 for 20 minutes or until you can squish a grain between your little finger and thumb (this is very specific as you have more strength in the other fingers). 

Let cool down and grind in your blender on pulse setting 'til coarse. It keeps in a glass jar in fridge for around 2 months. And will definitely will not grow old in your household as it is good on anything.
