Sautee one onion and 2 cloves garlic in 2TS olive oil; when they are fragrant and a little browned, add 1 packet of soya mince and continue sautéing. Meanwhile, puree in the blender one packet of tomatoes. When the mince has turned a shade darker, add the tomatoes, 2 bay leaf, 1 heaped ts vegetable stock powder and 1 ts brown sugar. Simmer for 10 minutes until all ingredients are well blended. Sprinkle generously with chopped parsley and basil. Pile upon cooked pasta or brown rice. Accompany with a big salad.
Brown Rice
Brown rice takes about 45 minutes s to cook. You can soak it in cold water for 5 minutes and then simmer with 2,5 x water to one part rice. Add a pinch of salt.
