Place a pinch of sea salt or Himalayan salt and a pinch of Xylitol in the neti. Add warm water from the kettle. Lean over the sink. Tilt your head to one side; place the neti spout up against your one nostril. Let the breath flow through the mouth. Allow the water to enter through one nostril and exit through the other. Blow your nose. Repeat the process from the other nostril. Ah, I can breathe now! If you want to, place a little oil (grapeseed, almond or jojoba) into your nostrils afterwards.
